They own 54 titles overall and 5 this year, including the Australian Open for their 7th Grand Slam. Las Vegas will again be graced with tennis royalty, as the Bryan Brothers return to headline Las Vegas’ tennis “Event of the Year” Camp Bryan3, a 2-day tennis spectacular. Camp Bryan3 is the third annual tennis fundraiser benefiting junior and multicultural tennis programs, and is open to recreational players of all levels—juniors to superseniors. Camp Bryan3 kicks off with the best of Las Vegas tennis. Local tennis professionals will teach participants in Cardio Tennis, clinics, round-robin play, and the Amateur Challenge, created by Promoter Glen Alex. The Amateur Challenge is a round robin for the 8 amateurs playing in the Pro-Am portion of Camp Bryan3. The top 2 amateurs play a set vs. Bob & Mike. The Las Vegas portion of Camp Bryan3 takes place Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Las Vegas Hilton, 3000 Paradise Road, 10am. Bob and Mike highlight Day 2 of Camp Bryan3. The day begins with clinics for adults and juniors--an extraordinary chance for players to learn first-hand from the best in the world. Roger Watson celebrated his birthday at Camp Bryan II said, “It was really outstanding to hit with the Bryan Brothers. They were very nice and brought out some great tennis for all of us”. Other ATP Professionals such as Rick Leach and Laurie Warder will also provide campers with a full variety of instruction and fun! Following the clinics will be the Bryan Bros vs. the Amateur Challenge winners from Day 1 and then the Pro-Am tournament. Bob, Mike, and other ATP professionals will play with amateur players in a round-robin tournament. Bob Bryan and amateur Michael Scott won the pro-am last year; Michael won tickets to the 2009 French Open, donated by Tennis Channel. The 1st place amateur of Camp Bryan3 will win tickets to the 2010 French Open, also donated by Tennis Channel. Day 2 activities take place Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Stirling Club @ Turnberry Place, 2728 Paradise Road, 11:00am. Camp Bryan3 culminates in a special musical performance by Bob & Mike, who are currently recording their first CD Let It Rip!, featuring Dave Baron. All sponsors and participants are invited, and non-participants can purchase tickets when they become available. A suitable venue TBA.
